If there is one thing that keeps the earth revolving, it has to be social media. The way that social media is used to convey news stories are unreal and lightning quick.
Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter users have perfected the art of releasing stories at the drop of a dime. But never has a story been told utilizing all social media cohesively.
That was until Storify was created.
Storify is a social network service that let's the user create stories or timelines using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Storify was launched in September 2010, and has been open to the public since April 2011.
This week, I took advantage of this app and released a story on it centered around the blockbuster trade in the NBA season involving Demarcus Cousins and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Storify is simple and it takes your work to a different level. In today's age, social media is key to getting your news out to the world.
Storify is able to mesh all these apps together so that the user is able to get information from anyone of these sites.
I strongly suggest that everyone use Storify to tell their story. It's easy to navigate and once you get into it, then it'll be hard to get out of it. So try it and relay your message to the world!!
